  • New Health Volunteering Programme Launched

A new Health Volunteering Programme has been launched by Ealing CVS and is aimed at supporting anyone with a long term health condition who lives or studies in the borough of Ealing. Volunteers on the programme start by providing support in short-term roles (12 weeks) with the potential to extend these further on a 1-2 days a week basis. All volunteers receive a full structured package of support from a Volunteering Project Officer at Ealing Volunteer Centre. All volunteers will need to complete a Record of Achievement booklet which will then be signed by a supervisor/manager to confirm their attendance. To find out more about the Health Volunteering Programme call Zeinab Mursal on 020 8280 2230 or email zeinab@ealingcvs.org.uk

  • Donate Unwanted Furniture

Ealing Council, working with Furnish, provide a re-use collection service and will collect items from your home.  The service provides affordable furniture and household items to people in need.  As long as the items are in a good, clean and reusable condition and have appropriate fire safety labels intact, you can arrange for them to be collected.  www.ealing.gov.uk/reusecollection
    Tel: 020 8996 4772 email: furnish.collection@sbhg.co.uk

If you have household items which are not in good condition but would like them collected, you can also arrange this through Ealing Council.
